These are different views of the eclipse on August 21, 2017.  they were with an iphone looking directly at the sun at 2:41PM.



These were taken at 2:47PM - through the trees

this speaks for itself -

Today's eclipse - such a strange moment in time - a small reflection of a very powerful sun and moon...... if you look at it full screen, you will see the small crescent like shapes -

 The most amazing thing - above was taken with my iPhone, as was below.  Below is the type shadow that was being cast on the ground and the tree, and everywhere we saw shadows coming through the trees, the sun came through is small crescents.....  I couldn't believe it until my son sent me a like photo that he had taken many miles away from where I was.  then when I went back outside after the eclipse that had taken place on 8/21/2017 around 2:46PM, - perhaps by 3:30PM, and all these "crescents" had changed back into just regular spots of light from the sun.

lighting is sometimes the key to perceiving all that is in a painting - from another angle, this looks entirely different..... Look for "waterworld" under August 2016 - then you will be amazed, but yes, it is the same painting.....  have a wonderful day.....

Nature .... not a painting - but a real work of art..... actually what you are looking at, is in the foreground the marsh, the next section that you may mistake for "water" is the mud from the low tide, and then the water starts - and it is just the reflection in the water at that point, the sky is not in the picture....
